p/n switch bypass

p/n switch bypass

after 4 years i STILL have this p/n code, has anyone who has done the 5spd swap bypassed this so they no longer have the code? i have a 5spd ecu, but its making the CEL come on and that is the only code, ane help is welcome.

The P/N safety switch is supposed to be re-wired to the clutch so the car can detect when the clutch is ALL the way on the floor.

thats done, but ive read in a thread( which i cant find now) that there is a wire that has to be grounded out.
