M3 mirror fitment question

My stock mirror shell is all cracked up and chipped off in places, and im interested in the M3 mirrors. How do the ebay m3 mirrors fit? I'm not looking for opinions on how they look, i just want to know how they fit and the quality.

Here's a link to one of them, they come in a few different shapes i think.

I havent yet seen it in a maxima. What i can tell you is that in a pontiac sunfire, a hyundai tiburon, and a mitsubishi eclipse the fit horrible. in fact in the pontiac you cannot get the angle for the right mirror but i really dont know about the maxima.

just my two cents

Ristastic means rice. Altezza's, big wings, chrome, that stuff is rice.

The fitment is really crappy on the M3 style mirrors and the mirror part reflects differently than OEM and actually makes it more difficult to see out of the mirrors.

I just installed a set before taking a trip. I took some pics and should be getting them up in the next few days. They don't fit real well as was mentioned. You would have to modify them a lot for a good fit and it would take a lot of work. Instead of fitting into the exterior mirror housing, they just cover it up. As you can imagine this creates a poor seal and air leaks. I must say I kind of like the look, but not sure I'll keep them on. For $37 shipped, and the fact that they were already black and matched the color of the car, I had to try just to see the results.
