Dash lights/electrical problem

Wondering if anyone can help me figure this out. A few days ago, my dash lights went out, i.e. speedometer and basically everything else except the odometer. I checked the fuses and they all seem to be OK. Last night, when I turned on my headlights, all of the lights in my temperature controls and radio went out...but only when I have my headlights on. Can you guys help point out the problem/solution might be? BTW, I've got a '99 SE. Thanks!

Where's the dimmer switch? Would this explain the radio and temp control lights going out?
