Wow, LOTSA CEL codes...HELP!

Ok well, i have been riding around on my auto ecu since i did my 5spd swap for a while now.

I just got around to changing it out with a 5spd one, and im pulling up the following codes:

13-02 = MAP/BARO SW Solenoid/Valve
08-03 = Absolute Pressure Sensor
09-03 = EVAP Canister vent control valve
08-01 = Vacuum cut balve bypass valve

Few questions,

1) where the h3ll do i start?!?!
2) What is "Vacuum cut balve bypass valve"
3) What is "Absolute Pressure Sensor"

95 has no MAP, you need a 95 ecu, probably fed spec (don't know what you are).

MAP == Manifold Absolute Pressure. Not sure if 95 cali had it, but that's your ap switch.

Im just gona start looking for vacum leaks i guess...i dont really c what could be throwing this code...other than that....

Could the new ECU really be triggering this problem?

Also check fuse number 13..... I wish I had known that a few years ago before I sold my Maxima. I had replaced damn near everything related to the EVAP system, but never knew about that fuse....

wasnt the fuze..just checked it lol...

Ive also read that it may be the gas cap?

Isnt there a evap canister or something like that in the engine bay? other than the evap canister by the back driver tire...i thought there was something else in the engine bay that could be related...

There is the evap solenoid or what ever. That little black disk on top of the manifold. You may have hooked it back up wrong when you did your VI.

No idea, Ive never messed with that thing. There should be a diagram in a service manual. If you dont have one you should be able to download one online somewhere.

I cant seem to find what goes to what in the FSM. It has a diagram, but i know that one hose comes from the EVAP canister in the back of the car right? THen the other gets routed back into the intake manifold. There is also a small vacuum line that goes down towards the EGR shiat...

If anyone can look maybe find out, where the hose from the back of the car plugs into...

1. you probably forgot to put the vac. line on the erg valve

2. 3 of those codes are related to the map sensor which Fed 95 maximas don't have. Get a 95 ecu

3. Just because you see a million codes doesn't mean they are all seperate aminals. 1 code can consist of 5 other codes that effect that part of the system.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=496931

Was in the for sale forums and found this...This is a 96 ECU, and with these EVAP codes, could this really be the problem in my 95? My car IS cali spec and i do have MAP/Baro, and all the normal EGR related stuff....So i dont know what you guys are talking about me not having, as far as smog related stuff...

I have the same symptoms he is describing...the CEL seems to only come on when i start the car, when i reset it, if it doesnt get set off at start up, i can drive it forever with no CEL, however when i turn it off and start it again...thats usually when it pops up...
