Vent tabs

My vent tabs are broke that go into the climate control. I dont want to have to shell out cash for an almost perfect vent. I bought the max wit em broke, so I need something thin and strong and small enuff to replace them with. How do I make sturdy new tabs?

Is there anyone that dealt with this accordingly and want to share?

the vent is the piece that has the hazards and R Defroster buttons. The tabs are on the bottom of it. Ill check the junkyards. I may just try the superglue also.
