ground control coilovers
I have a set of gc coilovers on my 99 max with tokico illuminas. Well the tokicos have gone out again in the rear and I wanted to replace them with some kyb agx's. Will the kyb work for gc for tokicos? Or do I need to get different gc coilovers for a kyb?

u can make them work....u might need to drill out the hole for the top mount.....the email i got from GC told me that they were different rates...for diff. struts and like i said the top mount might need to be modified...but the illuminas are better anyway so buy new illuminas

I keep having problems with blowing or wearing out tokicos. I dont have my car slammed all the way down. I put my stock 16's back so I lifted the coils all the way up. I have a friend with the gc with agx and he has his car lowered all the way and with no problems so thats why I wanna go with agx's. But you all say that it can be done but with little or no modifications. I spoke with gc and they said I have to get new sleeves but I dont think the guy knew what I was talking about.
Im just glad that tokico is very good about warranting struts but I hate having to replace them a lot.
