Hose from nowhere!
Hose from nowhere!
First off, let me say my engine bay is dirty, it will be cleaned soon. Well anyway, I was under the hood the other day, and I found a hose that happened to be disconnected. I looked everywhere it could go with no luck. I traced it as best I could and I think it leads to the spot in the last two pics. Any help is great guys! Pics below.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

So is there any point in having it on or should I just take it off the tranny?
Thanks for the info BTW. I thought it had to be some sort of breather/vacuum, but I wasnt sure.

Ah, I got yah. Sorry, I guess I didnt clarify if one should be on there before I asked if I should take it off...Thanks for the info on this. If need be, mods can delete this.
I cut it really short one time thinking it didnt need to be 2' long. Boy was I wrong. Lots of tranny fluid came out all over the place.
Its only a breather, not for filling up the tranny. Auto trannys have ATF, manuals have gear oil.
