Ceasar has already done the CF on white thing.

He was the first one to have a CF hood on a white Maxima, I got mine shortly after from the same source.

wow I don't think I've ever seen an above veiw of the chariot, the cf actually looks good on white w/tint, I've never been a fan of cf hoods. Anyways, I hate to temporarily hj this thread, but are the maxima upper core supports definitly different from that of an I30? (oh, you forgot to mention all front lights would need to be swapped as well). I am shopping for a core-support so I need to know, tia.

Anyways....... To reply, and for my vote, pics no workie, but my vote is for whichever one (I know, none of them are) is a 4" cowl...

So I would run into the same minor mounting difficulties that a maxima owner installing cefiro's would run into, I gotcha. Thanks a bunch Shavedsnatch, I mean Shavedmax. Sorry to HJ ur thread mymax.

4" cowl ftw w/swap.

I think the CE's hood was the best looking one out there in my opinion.

Its ok because it was different, but a bit too ricey without cutouts. If the indentions were actually cut out, then it would look better in my opinion plus aid a bit in cooling.

I agree 100%. I said it would be nicer if it had cutouts as well....someday, with more $$$...I'll take the time to have them cut out.

thats an i-30/cefiro, therefore, you would need a hood bumper lights fenders and grille to make it work. did you also not read page one? it would be cheaper to sell your max and buy an i30.

are the I30 fenders not a bit shorter than our max's? meaning that you'd have to change the whole front clip?

yeah just wondering if you'd need to change the whole clip but I guess not, just modify it. like everyone said, not worth the $$, unless you are rich/bored it'd be cool to see lol.

just cut a BIG CIRCULAR hole in your hood, to make it execptionally functional, and to stand out from the plain hoods.

Han, how do you have "functional ram air"? Your air filter isn't located directly behind the scoop, right?

Yeah, sorry guys for the bump. I was doing a search for hoods/hood scoops and when I saw Han state that his scoop provides ram air, I had to enquire. It made no sense because 1.) It's nowhere near his air filter/intake/throttle body and 2.) He's SC'ed anyway.

i wouldnt mind a list of cf hood suppliers. (updated) i was out at the drags last year and of course my hood struts have been shot for ages. one of the tech inspectors tries to slam my hood down with vice grip pliers locked down on the left hood strut. put a nasty bend kinda dent in the hood. had to smack it back in place.

so a bit of weight reduction, replacing a damaged item sounds like something to save up for. funny how you change your mind, i had mentioned painting it but now i wouldnt. i got smart and figured out paint actually weighs.
