95-99 Nissan Maxima R34 1pc Chrome Headlight 96 97 98
WTH, where were these when I was doing my retrofit.
I might buy a pair to play with, once I see the fitment on these. Nice to see some headlamp options for the 4th gens. But these > Cefiros so far.

According to this guy these are a direct bolt on with no modification needed.

I really want to see the beam pattern on these.

that center peice def goes all the way through.. its the mirrored reflection thats reflecting the insert behind the sheild...not through to the other side...
painted i think these will look pretty damn sick.... just shove hids in there **** PROJECTors.. too much of a PROJECT lol even tho they look sick..
there will probly be 1/2 as less glare as the oem headlights maybe more if you just threw hids in them.. theyre smaller and the areas are more condensed, hence not expanding the light..

I like how that photoshop one looks in the above post. I'd probably pick up a pair if they came out. I just don't know if they would look good on my dark green max.

Likely with D1R capsules (yes, D1, not D2, consider when they were made) and some sort of extra glare guard. Your average kit is going to use S capsules, though, not R's, and no one will be unlazy enough to use a glare guard, sooo hello glare. Also, lol @ whoever said there won't be that much glare because the reflector is smaller

What i'm excited to hear is that you wont have to cut the "bracket" that holds the corner lamps...If these headlamps are truly plug n play.
the "plug and play" is what worries me. If you look close, you still can't see what kind of bulb the inner one is. How lame would it be if it was just a 194 or something.
On a side note, making a small harness for each side would be pretty easy. Use the same ground for each bulb, and run the low beam wire to one side, then the high beam wire to the other side. It would work the same way. But what types of bulbs would you use?

Even with my current bi-xenon setup in AE'd 97+ headlights, I would sell them in a heartbeat to potentially try a setup like this with only low beam HID projectors or something in the normal low beam spot. It just looks so cool and so "modern" compared to what we have now.
Also, having done some research, those high beams appear to be 9005 bulbs, which are common to use as high beams in modern cars with separate high beam reflectors. They are not H1, as the bulb is too short, and they are not 9006 because they have no film on the top of the bulb. They wouldn't be 9004/9007/H4/H7 because that's dual filament, they wouldn't be H3 because the bulb is too long and narrow, and the bulbs look nothing like a little 194 or anything like that.

damn beaten to it. I would love to try a retrofit in these. They look perfect for a dual retrofit setup.
