suspensions

Hey guys, I got my KRB-Gr2s and was wondering what was a good price to have it installed for, I had one shop quoting me for 498, and another at the 700s range, I just wanted a general idea of how much u guys got it paid to set up since I don't have the time or luxury of doing it myself seeing how I have no garage and its damn cold outside... thanks a lot...

If you really feel the urge to drive to Pittsburgh, Symmetry Automobile Techniques does it for 70 and then alignment for an extra 50. Total of 120. Up to you.

I paid $125 at a local suspension shop to have my KYB AGX/Progress setup installed. I can give you their number if you feel like coming out to Rochester.

I do it for $100 in my driveway if an ORG member in need contacts me.

YMMV

Sounds like your shop quoted you with the price of the struts included. Call them back and be clear that you have the struts already and just need them installed. As already said it is only like 1.5-2 hour job, so 120 bucks makes a lot more sense. (I'm guessing shops in your area charge 60-65 an hour for labor)
