Taillight fuse keeps on blowing.

The taillight fuse keeps on blowing on a friends 99 max. The moment she turns on her headlights, the fuse blows. The headlight comes on but everything else doesnt. When she steps on the brakes though, the light does come on. I checked the taillight sockets and and couldnt see anything wrong or any indications of water getting in. Any ideas? Thanks!

Wouldnt the bulbs get burnt too if it was incorrect? Gotta check that out. The panel list the fuse as 7.5. Thats what i have in there.

Well you most likely have a short somewhere. Go into you trunk and check all the connections to the sockets and make sure there is no wire touching metal.
