MY MAX OWNED!! Rear Bumper Cover Removal

Hey guys, i need help on taking off the rear bumper cover. Someone hit my car!!! When i was walking to it after watching 007, it was f****d up. I had it quoted from three shops and the cheapest one is $1,280!!! i looked at the quote and all that they're replacing is the rear bumper cover plus painting labor removal and installation labor. I think its too expensive. I looked on ebay and found i can get the rear bumper cover painted already for 234.00 shipped. They also smashed my passenger side Red/Clear CE tails. So i gotta order those again.

So any help would be great. Like instructions on taking it out and tools that i may need.

Here are the pics.

The rear passenger quarter panel doesn't seem to have any bents or dings. Some small scratches.

Thanks in advance!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

i swear to god shops are such a f*cking rip off. im glad your taking the effort to do it yourself because its really not hard. I dont remember exactly, but your gonna have to get behind the interior trunk plastic wall panels. There are 3 or 4 bolts in a vertical row on each side of the bumper cover where it attaches to the rear quarter panel. (just look for it, its simple)
and then i believe there are screws under the bumper cover on the bottom attaching to the bumper support bar. and there are some under a plastic strip where the trunk lid meets the bumper cover.
if you look for them, you can find them...its pretty straight forward

i did, they sent the copy to the police and they're getting information about it. They called me that its a black toyota tacoma. He backed up on my car. They'll question him tomorrow after thanksgiving that's what they told me. I want to repair it myself so if they give me a check, I'll fix it and use the extra dough to upgrade my exhaust. Hehe.
