i have a code for my VSS... i just wanna know if anyone changed their's before... i tried pulling that thing out anf it wont borg.. and i did take that lil bolt out .... i get the code both on the o\d light and on the CEL....

 

yeah, they're stuck in there pretty good. what i had to do was spray it w/wd-40 or the like, and turn it back & forth while pulling up. it'll come just have to work it out.

 

its so hard i though it wasnt suppose to come off...lol

 

I assume you got it. If not keep pulling, it will come out and the new one should slide in pretty easly. I replaced mine on a manual VLSd manual that I worked on. I have'nt done it on an automatic but from what I've seen on my friends auto I'm pretty sure it is the same.
