need help with the radio......

ok guys and gals
to start with my factiry bose radio stop working in my 96 maxima.it would come on put you couldnt hear anything.so i got a new aftermarket radio and pu *** in.the same thing,no sound.so i asked why and i was told that i had to use a adaptor to make it work since i had a bose unit in there before.so i got what i was told to get a OEM Amplifier Integration v.4 by scosche.so i got it and put it in and still nothing.i have checkec, and checked the wiring to see if anything was wrong and the wiring is fine.

so is there any other part of the bose system i need to check?any info on this would be great.

thanks

you need to hook a current up to the amp reomte wire for the bose system. i forget which wire it is, but its not hard to figure out.

check your fuses too. there are two in the middle row, one is labeled Bose and one is labeled Audio. I can't remember which one protects the bose amps as opposed to the HU but it's definitely one of the two. Had a similar problem a while ago. If you replace the fuse and it blows again, then you might have a problem on one of the amps.

chances are that you didnt hook up the amp wire like previously stated. that or you didnt ground the cd player.
