FYI...Good Price on Knock Sensor

FYI, I just bought and installed my new K.S. I got it off ebay for $64 with free shipping. Came fast and says made in Japan (OEM). There are tons of them on there. Just thought I'd let you know about the good price!

Havent checked for the codes yet, thought i'd put a few miles on it first. I didnt get a new harness, just replaced the sensor. Ill let you know if the code remains, otherwise I have def noticed an increase in power. What I am really looking for is increase in mpg tho...

old news. thanks tho i guess. they average about 70$ including shipping from ebay and i havent heard anyone on this site that ever got a bad knock sensor from ebay, so they should all be good - just depends on the ebayer you buy them from.

So what's the verdict? Did the code come back at all? Has your MPG gone up. I'm thinking I'm going to try the ebay KS. How much of a PITA was it to install?

Haven't gotten any codes. Runs great. No noticeable increase in mpg. Wasn't too bad to install.
Just follow the write up in the stickies and you should be good. I got the u-joint adapter and went to it, took about 30 mins. Just be PATIENT. Oh and wear rubber gloves, that will keep the cuts away.

MAP sensor and Transmission issue. Check that thread given. MAP sensor is a fairly easy fix. Should just need a new one. Transmission problem is not as simple.
