Short throw shifter

Anyone have any experience with buying a short throw shifter from ebay like this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SHORT...QQcmdZViewItem

This one says "same as B&M" but is alot cheaper.

How easy are these to install and are worth it? Is there a noticable positive effect?

I would stay clear of anything on ebay thats not a brand name. There is a reason why they say "You get what you pay for".

Same here, I have had mine for almost a year now and still not installed. The dumb****s that redid my exhaust welded EVERYTHING from my Y-Pipe(which was an aftermarket one that I now cannot change to a different exhaust unless I go make them put a flange on it) all the way back (this also means the part in the back that goes over the rear subframe, I think, will have to be cut to remove.
