Which headlight bulb to buy?????

Hi there I bought these headlight bulbs from this store it cost me 35 dollars cnd those were not bad for a while, they gave out blue bright light you can say and after a while it ran out and seems to burn down my socket aswell. Can someone tell me which bulb to buy this time? that will not burn my socket and give out a nice bright light. And also what if i put nice bright light on my taillights would that make a difference and give out nice light? and how much would it cost cnd.

thankss

Well, like what has been said before, Sylvania Xtravision's (maybe $20/pair) are always good.
You could do a 9007 conversion with Xtravision to get even better lighting. Sylvania Silverstars look great during good conditions, but don't work well in the rain and some complain of their short life span.
Those are the only ones I have experience with so that is all I can contribute.
I currently use the Xtravisions and am pleased with them, but I hope to go with HID's someday.

Basically there's a couple of wires you have to switch around and clip off the extra nub on the 9007 bulb with nail clippers. That's when I used to have 9007's I like my HID's now. That was a b***h to make.

Compare that with my sig, you can the see the difference I hope. There were street lights in the bottom ones and my lights still powered through.

PIAA's are fine. For the 9004 or even 9007 I used Sylvanias. They're really good. Mine are HID's; that's a whole different ballgame.

Just stay away from anything that's over 100w, so they won't melt your harness.

I did a 9007 conversion on mine and am running Hella bulbs...the light output is real bright, clear, and far-reaching. If you can find them, i would definately recommend them....i think i picked mine up for $35-40.

good luck

Stay away from bulbs over 65w or if they are blue or yellow tinted. Overwattage bulbs are going to continue melting your wiring harness and tinted bulbs... well it's kind of like tinting your windshield and expecting to see better out front. Convert to 9007 and stick to clear bulbs.

i like the nokya arctic white bulbs, i have used these on numerous cars and love them, but get the stage 1, so it will be stock wattage. i had the stage 2, and could not tell a difference, but my harness could.lol
