code p0446

code p0446
my car has been throwing codes like crazy lately! first i get an 02 sensor code. then my car stalled, light goes off. then i get 3 new codes which were vacuum cut valve bypass valve, map/baro switch, and evap solenoid code. tested the solenoid, it was fine. checked voltage at the connecters, 13.5V. so i figured they showed up cause of the stall. cleared them. now 1 day later i get code P0446. i checked nissanhelp.com and i couldnt find it on their list of codes. anyone know what it is and why my car is throwing so many random a$$ codes lately which seemingly have NOT been a problem??

You can check the valve itself by removing it. You should be able to blow through it without power. You should not be able to blow through it with 12V applied across the terminals. If the valve checks good it could be harness or connectors, the Evap. Control Pressure Sensor, a blocked hose, or the water seperator (whatever that is).

actually i already did that. was told that was the evap solenoid? it checked good. the connectors all had 13.5V's to them and the pressure sensor had 5V to it (which i believe is right? ive read it should have about 5V and ive also read it should have about 3.6V....) ill check for a blocked hose thursday, since i dont have access to a lift until then. and yea, dont know what a water seperator is either....
hopefully my charcoal canister didnt bust and send charcoal through my evap. that would be a bummer. i read cracked, blocked, and disconnected hoses can trigger a code as well.

hmmm i took all the hoses off and checked them for a clog or cracks. they all are fine. then i found a connector that wasnt plugged in. so i was like awsome! theres my problem. plugged it in and cleared the codes. drove for two days (& over 60 miles) then, it came back on again. im thinking this might be an intermitent problem with the vent control valve. also, i need to check the vacuum T because i broke it when taking a hose off and i had to put one of those break away Ts on there and it very easily could have snapped. my next question is this: does anybody know how much a vent control valve costs? i checked autozone.com to get a rough estimate but i cant find it on there. if its decently expensive(over $50ish) im going to do a little more testing before i replace it.
