Wait!! Now I Need Tires?
#1
Finally going to get rims. Probably either the Enkei RS6 or the Enkei CDR9. They are a 17x7 5-100/114 38S for the RS6 and 17x7 5-100/114 40S for the CDR9.
My question is this: i have no further knowledge of tires themselves. I always stuck with Michelin MXV4 plus's on my stock rims (btw i have a 98 gle).
Which company makes good tires?
What rating should i go with?
What size?
How does sizing work? (ie 225/50-17 blah blah blah)
The only other info i can think to give you is that i live in New Jersey, so i experience all types of weather. i'm looking for something sporty, but good for a daily driver.
Please help!!

i got my rims/tires from whalentire. if you do a package thing, most sites set up the sizes for you. i got kumho escata, i live in jersey too. just know that you will have to change tires in winter, so maybe you can buy some new ones then (this is something i did not know initially). later.
