park brake question

does the 4th gen parking brake just use the rear calipers? or is it a drum-like one?

Well some cars use disc brakes but also have a drum e-brake like the 300zx. But yea our e-brake uses the rear caliper to disc

Thats probably the case with most rear disc brake cars that I know... I think lambos have a second caliper for the ebrake though

I'm acually shocked at this one. I thought it was a noob post but I was wrong....how could you not even look at your rear wheels? Just had to ask....

Some model cars equipped with rear disc brakes, use drums for parking brake. The disc is also a drum, with the parking brake shoes inside the drum, or inside the rotor. The 2002 + Honda Odyssey is a perfect example. The original question was not stupid.

how so? All you need to do was look at the rear brakes....everyone knows that different cars have brakes and drums. My 91 Max had drums. It's common sense, all you need to do it look.
