Max in an accident :(
Max in an accident :(
Long story short, i was speeding a deer ran out, froze, and i swerved into the guardrail on the left. Hit it with my front left fender and rear bounced into it as well.
I'm not sure if there is any frame damage, the fender is squashed pretty deep in (half of my front tire is exposed )
From what I can see, I'd have to replace the front left fender, fender liner, front left corner light, front bumper cover, rear tail light, and rear bumper cover. There's also damage to the quarter panel but i'm not sure that would go about being replaced.
How much do you guys think this is going to cost? I was looking on ebay for parts and found everything for ~400shipped but i'd need to get stuff painted. Also how would the quarter panel get fixed?

~$300-$400 for the rear quater panel work. My brothers Maxima just had that work done and that was the labor charge. sans paint.
I hit a deer at 35mph and I ended up needing a new hood, grill, headlights, and corner light. . . punk **** bambi . . .

Well glad your alright, The quarter panel could either be cut and welded or probably just bondoed and be put back into place and most of quality shops will probably charge anywhere from 250-450 for that type of job including paint. A friend of mine had a rear quarter panel damage from another car hitting it it was pulled out and the shop charged him $300. So good luck and post some pictures
if there was no frame damage, buy the parts and replace them yourself (except the quarter panel of course). that way you only pay for painting and QP work. there is an aftermarket parts place here in queens that sells the skin and lights. havent really compared price difference between them and factory parts. another option are used parts but that will greatly boost the paint price because of priming, sanding filling etc. new parts already come primed so i think they may work out cheaper. depends on the used prices you can get.
the used parts on car-part.com for fenders were much more expensive than on ebay. where would I get the parts painted? Also i'm not completely sure if theres no frame damage, all i know is that if you're inside the car, you wouldn't know there is any damage, alignment is straight, no funny sounds besides a mangled fenderliner rubbing on the pavement when the car dips. When I popped the hood, the fuse box on the drives side was squashed a little, also my left blinker blinks very quickly.

theres a guy my father knows up in Newark, and i've gotten positive comments from where I buy our paint from. He's pretty expensive, but if your willing to throw down some $$, i can get, and give you his number. You may also check out his car, and or other projects he's working on.
