Door panels + speakers = crazy rattles

how can I stop the rattling of my door panels caused by the speakers?, It seems like the door panels vibrate even at the slightest amount of bass. I do not have subs, just 4 6.5 inch Infinity's. Please help!

oh yea, how easy is it to disconnect the stock bose A-pillar tweeters? I think it is interfering negatively w/ my aftermarket speakers, sound wise.

Much appreciation

i had a problem. with some annyoing noise on my door.. not sure if its the same in your case... but playing around with the. door. i eventually.... noticed that the. screw thats in the handle (where you put your arm on).. was unscrewed ... so that stoped it for me... i guess i left it loose when i put the new speakers in.

if thats not the case.. hope you figure it out..

I had similiar problem with my max. I wemt to a dj equipment shop and the guy sold me a CD that had nothing but low bass like frequencies in different patterns and levels. I isolated each door speaker thru the HU and played the cd,the speakers barely made any audible sound but it would replicate the sound and I was able to find the rattles.

Use some sound deadening. Why isn't this in the audio forum?

Speakers could be loose. I just noticed sound from my pass. door I think the speaker is lose. Make sure everything is tight from installation then go to sound deadening.

Godson, that cd sounds really cool. Surprised they have that kind of stuff.

yea the cd is odd, dude said they use when they setup at different venues to check for ambient noise in the room or hall or wherever they at. Its pretty trippy watching the speaker travel while there is no audible sound coming from it,well not no sound but very little, little enough to hear the rattles. I played it through my subs, bad mistake...didnt blow them but I felt like I "hurt" them lol

I got Infinitys installed in my Max too and I had to make sure that I cut off those little nubs that are on the original mounting place. They were causing my speaker to sit uneven and rattle whenever it was turned up. That might be something you'd like to check.
