I bought blinker lights today (Clearance Light)
And I can't install them casue the Clearance light thing won't open up..
i did what the instruction in the manual said
1.Unscrew the top screw
2. take cloth and pull it out then install

BAM! instruction is pretty simple
but then I tried, the thing isn't coming off!!
i pull really really hard, it won't come off
i think it is stuck on something..
is there like extra screw or whatever?

please help me! thank you!

Ok, first, when you unscrew it, does the lamp pull out a little. If it does, just spray a little WD40 near the bottom of the lamp where it touches the headlight, that is where that snap is located that is giving you a hard time. If the lamp is not pulling out, buy yourself a whole can of WD40, spray the h#ll out of the back of the lamp, let it soak, and do the same process again. Depending on the age of you Maxima and if has ever been removed, it should be quite simple. Post back if you need more info.

While you are pulling, try to rotate it at the same time. Pull kind diagnally away from the car, the snap points out at a 45 degree angle from the front of the car, so pull out at that direction.

I was able to change mine without pulling the whole piece out. the bulb comes in through the bottem of the cornering light. Reach down, unscrew the harness, and swap the bulbs.

Its not real easy, but I didn't want to take the chance of breaking either of the housings.

I had a hard time pulling mine out the first time too. Take a flathead screwdriver and put it between the ball and socket on the corner light. Turn the screwdriver 90 degrees either direction and the ball should pop out and release the corner light.

If you want blue corners I'd suggest Polargs. I have APC headlights and Polarg corners and they look great I just wish I could get my corners working again
