help with rim offsets

help with rim offsets

Ok i feel like a tool for asking this but i really don't wanna **** up buying rims. what the **** is the offset? could someone show me a picture with a diagram of what it is? and im thinking of running 18x8 or 18x8.5 what kind of offset should i be looking for?

if i get 18x8 or 18x8.5 what kind of offset should i get if i want my wheel to be flush with the fender...like not sticking out the side.

Everyone has their own deffinition of what "flush" is. Your better off just looking around at pictures of different setups to find what you want.

I had the equivalent of +35 on an 8" front and +27 on an 8" rear and they were okay. The rears could come out a little more. Now I'm running the equivalent of +31 all around on 8" wide and the rears are a little sunken in so I'm looking for spacers. This is assuming your rear fenders are rolled in order to achieve maximal flushness with the fender.

i love those rims on your car.. they look liek the stock 96 i30 bbs wheels only bigger.. and sexier...

what are those?

i own a 97 se, with no drop, im want to put 20s on there, what should my offset be, if i want the rim to be flush with the fenders and what should my offset be if i want the wheel to stick out just a tiny bit????
