Yeah, in the end the only reason to do the RB is if you want more TQ/ power over 400whp reliably and to not be like very other SR swap on the planet. Oh and no A/C dammit haha.

Nice, dunno about the 19" SSR's.. But hey w/e right. All the rest of that is beautiful, except I thought you had an AE = AE tranny. Perhaps I have you confused with Steven88 or something. I get you guys mixed up.

Haha np, I was kidding.. They go for about 13-15k, the one I'm referencing is going to be a little over 17k because it's being built and swapped into an S13.

Alignment, 2 new calipers, and getting my SAFC tuned soon. I've been meaning to do these repairs for a while. It will feel good when they are finished.

oh, and an RB25DET , 240's need love too. 450rwhp on the way..

Really, almost did that just now. (not a bad thing haha)

Wow man -- I guess you'renot missing your Z very much?!?!

Do you have pictures?

I got a nice xmas present -- my s13 turned out to be a VERY clean car, no rust on the frame rails or in the engine bay (except for the battery tray, but I'm pretty sure someone in Cali could develop rust in that spot).
ACT clutch and oil line kit are going to be ordered today, and as soon as they come in I'll mock up the replacement engine and trans.

Oh, and 240's deserve all the love.

Let me know about your project website/thread too, I'd like to follow as well.

We're building part and the shop is doing the rest in collaboration with us..

RB25DET from a R33 GTST with a little less than 30k, custom mounts/ driveshaft and routing, accesories, wiring harness, GReddy Intake Manifold, GReddy RSPL Front Mount Intercooler and piping, APEX'i AVC-R Digital Electronic Boost Controller, Apexi SAFCII, Tomei 740cc Fuel Injectors, T3/T04E Turbo, HKS Wastegate, Custom Manifold, custom dump pipe, few hours on the dyno, greddy timing belt, possibly tomei cams, S15 HLSD, Apexi coilovers..

Just trying to decide if the T3 is lame.. Which I think a GT3037R would do nicely after reading on the skyline down under forums for a bit.

I am pretty sure they will, but better to check with the pros.

I also got a Haines Repair Manual and will get my Synthetic Gear Oil soon.

EDIT: OH SNAP ... helps to provide the link.
Here
yeah they got the rear main seal, and yes ALL vq's use the same crappy rear main seal, BUT there's alot more your missing..... You also need the front and rear oil pan "c-shaped" seals, the oil pick-up o-rings, and some permetex grey, (plus brake cleaner, rags, and 3-m scotch pads). Don't make the mistake me, zach342, and a few others made, you need to do it the way the FACTORY manual tells you, which is to remove the upper oil pan to install the rm and then re-seal the upr oil pan. You can go HERE for more info at the very end of the 2nd page you'll see that I had to take my tranny back out.......

I got a Visa Gift Card so I used that to buy a new shifter boot and e-brake boot that I needed since I bought the car. Also this one came pre-assembled straight from the factory so that it actually fits. And I treated her to a new clock since the old one stopped working. I guess she made out pretty good.

Definately will do.

I've decided though that the Holset turbo I was going to get would be way too big (18cm compressor housing), so I'm not going to pick that up.

I did get however, a huge tool chest/cabinet for xmas (finally got to open up the presents) to hold any tool/detailing supply I may have. It's that fuggin big. I actually have to go on a tool shopping spree to fill it I think.

240's sit so high in the front without an engine weighing it down... haha, just like any other car
