who makes the indoglos for our car. i found some on ebay which are a 5 color digital system that are cheaper than the other ones i have seen which are 6 color. These ones that i found go from blue to violet, but who really wants purple guages so basically it is a four color guage. Has anyone heard of this kind of indiglo?

I think the first one to make them was Initial K or something like that, they're kindiglo on ebay. I've seen reverse indiglo'd for sale from autodynamic and they look pretty sweet. Theres also indiglo needles which are also very cool looking.

I have been looking for indiglo gauges for my 95 max also. I know on ww.nrauto.com they sell them, they are 119.00 or so, w/o shipping, but they come with the tool to remove then needles so you can do this yourself. Also, on www.procarparts.com they sell indiglo gauges for 65.95, but no tool, and i don't know the cost of shipping. I don't have either of them, so i couldn't tell you how they look.

Inital K made modifications on the KMH version since the first batch was kinda screwed up. It was basicly the MPH version with KMH readings rearranged and skipping numbers accordingly. The revised ones look great and has a true match to the OEM with SE Style fonts and no buzzing noises. Only complaint I have, along with a few others I have heard from is the needle sticking.

Did you solve the problem with needle sticking, or is something that you have to keep dealing with?

Happens on and off. No real solution for it unless to buy new ones and do it right first time around. Just be careful when installing and make sure you have one end of the cutout circle under the needle cap before pusing the otherside down. Bend the gauges if you have too but don't force it down and be sure to secure with 3m double sided tape too keep the gauges down.

Initial K Indiglos

I got my digital indiglo gauges from Initial K (yes, the 1st batch) and have had them on for the past 5 months. I've heard horror stories from others who got defective indiglos from Initial K but mine fits like a glove- needles never got stuck, fuel and temp readings accurate etc. It looks great! 6 different settings.. from green to blue, bright to dark. Installation was not a problem (having a lady's touch always help). But then again, if I can install it, so can you!

RE: Indiglo Guages...

As you can see, I have an automatic Maxima. I was wondering if these color-changing guages work with the shift of an automatic.
thanks

I have the analog style on my automagic and they work just fine. In case someone was wondering if the color changes when you shift, it does not. It is adjustable on the fly but does not respond to any outside power/rpm/osmosis influence. They look sweet and the instructions on www.maximadriver.com are invaluable. Pitch the set you get from the mfr.

Re: Initial K Indiglos

*Ahem* *Ahem* If I remember correctly... someone was having problems with her indiglos and then someone wired them properly for her.

I paid $90 from Initial K (look up www.maximadriver.com for contact info). Yes, minor bug needed to be fixed (wiring) and it took Calvin aka Clee 15 minutes to make the adjustments
I will offer my services for that lovely trenz grill buhahaha

Mine are from Initial K. I didn't need the digital pad, because I only wanted the blue color. It works fine, the RPM's stick, but its my fault, and I can fix it easily, just need the time to take it apart again. I have had them for 3 months with no fading or anything. I also markered the needles blue so they look good during the day. I have a 96, BTW. I think I paid $70 shipped to my house directly from Initial K.
