Alarm Beep using REGULAR Horn?

I've tried searching via google in hopes of finding discussion on here about such a project, but was unsuccessful. Maybe after the next couple paychecks, I will be able to afford to be a donating member....lol.
Wouldn't it be possible to hook the factory installed horn up to the relay so that the car horn actually sounds when the FOB remote locks the doors? The write-up using the buzzer is great, but I was thinking that it could be done using our horn and basically just a little extra wiring to the front. Any other ideas or experiments by you guys?

Well maybe you can get a confederate flag and get the General Lee horn.... maybe a gun rack on the back? YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAaaaaaaawwww!!!

Anyway, it's louder and can be heard from farther away... plus it's another project that ppl might be interested in.

So I was thinking, that as an adjustment to the normal mod. You could route wiring that was going to the buzzer mechanism to the fuse/wiring where the horn is located. I don't see why such a thing wouldn't work. Hopefully, some of the electrical geniuses can provide some input.

Alarm Beep using REGULAR Horn?
NO Unless you completely rewire your stock horns.

Alarm beep = 2X 12V pulse
Horns = switched ground

You're saying that the horn is triggered by grounding the signal right? Couldn't a rig be setup to ground when the lock is triggered? Doesn't seem like you'd have to re-wire everything. I think it's interesting enough to explore, but before I do anything I hope to have enough discussion and background(hopefully some diagrams) to do it. Then I could make a FAQ for other users.

Its totally doable with relays. The wire from the BCM sends ground, the horn trigger is 12v+ so:
Relay pin diagram:
86 12v+ constant
85 BCM flash signal
87 horn wire
30 12v+ constant

got any pics that correspond to the numbers? I think we're pretty close to having enough info for me to stumble through the 2nd phase of this.

Please guys, if you have any technical input, don't hesitate to post. Speculation and theories could end up completing this mod.
