hey i got 97 max and i got this code for the EGRC-BPT Valve, 0306 off my ecu...my car has been running very bad...it shifts into the next gear too quickly and there is alot of low end power which is disturbing...it also acts like a slingshot when i step on it...if i rev it up to like 5000 rpm and hold down the pedal i get no torque and it feels like it is being jerked foward...I would like to know if this is the problem before i spend money on something stupid...please if anyone knows the side effects of a corrupt EGRC-BPT Valve let me know...ive been having this problem for months and i feel like selling my maxima but it only has 60k and i love this car...Thanks maximas are the ****

 

its probably the trans slipping... check the fluid..

 

the fluid is fine....i just drained it and put new about 5000 miles ago
