my 96 max set of the knock sensor code they tell me not to use the cheap gas and that will stop that
but my question is the knock sensor with retard the timing, do I need to get my timing set again are just leave it alone

1) When you originate a thread it is good to choose a meaningful Subject line. In this case Ignition Timing would convey more useful information than have a question.

2) Don't worry about the timing. The ECM will advance it as far as practical each time you start the engine, and retard it only if the Knock Sensor sends a signal.
