I'm in the middle of a retrofit here, but am having some issues with my harness. I built it to spec through drroy's thread in the HIDPlanet University section. I've gone over the connections dozens of times and all the wires are in the right places.

When the ballasts are plugged in and i turn on the low beams, i usually blow the fuse for the headlight that I'm plugged into. I decided to investigate with my multimeter, and found that when I turn the low beams on, I don't get any voltage to the ballast plugs. I don't hear any of the relays clicking when i power on either.

There was only one time, and I don't know what i did to do it but i heard a relay click and i was getting voltage to the plug; i switched to high beam - voltage was good - back to low beam and again no power. I have tried different relays as well. Anyone have any ideas?

harness is being made for a 99 maxima with 9004 switched ground.

hey u have bixenon or single.. and why are using that schematic??? pm me and ill give you the one that i made..

 

i'm going to have a dual setup, tsx lowbeam, and halogen high beam. This schematic allows me,
with HID low beams on, they dont turn off when the Hi beams are flashed/switched on
- when the low beams are off the lows dont flash along with the hi beams
