Ceasar, that bracket on the passenger side always bothers me. I will try my hand at polishing it or just paint it if I am not satisfied.

The valvecover and timing case were wetsanded and the PS lines are actually polished now. Radiator cap sticker is off and that is polished as well, the stock one comes out good! Just old fasioned elbow grease. All caps, including battery terminal and my USIM are now color matched to my wheels (gunmetal).

The area by the PS motor mount looks great on your car, lot of hard areas to get into. I finally got it when I had my coolant and PS resevoirs out at seperate times. I have my windshield washer resevoir removed and my horn relocated so my hands get cut much less.

Are you using Odyssey battery? Where did you get that cover?

What's good everyone? Quick Question... Did any of you have to re-program the ECU to recognize the extra air? If so, did it make a differance from before and after the Programing? How or where did you have the ECU programed?

LOL ... above question cracks me up. The MAF detects the extra air. People generally need to upgrade their MAF when they are using more than a few pounds of boost with a turbocharger or supercharger.

No Boost or NAS!!! No need to be CRACKED up! Forgive me for my ignorance, MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) ? The only other things done to the car is headers back with new O2 sensors and New Cat. Thanks to Lou's Custom Exhaust in Worcester MA.

I say the same thing except I don't use my user name.

Had a real good chance at the begenning of the school year but it just wasn't a good time for me and I had to let it pass.

When I price the 00VI and then get into pricing whole DEKs and from there the shaking and foaming from the mouth occur.

If the 00VI was not possible, I would have already HAD a MEVI by now. It IS possible so I want to take my time and really tear things apart and get it together with a good tune. It's really a summer type project for me.

It's a hood prop from another car, I will be getting a full-lenth prop to replace it. I would MUCH rather the center/front of the hood be under load. It wasn't until after I had my struts off that I realized what a heavy SOB the stock hood is.

duh. Why are you people trying to get more power out of maxima. You would be better off saving it and up grading to atleast a 2000 with the vairable intake and valve system.

Going from 190 to 222-227 is not going to make the car a sleeper.

The MEVI equipped VQ25DE=187 HP, what do you think the VQ30DE with an MEVI makes? Pretty much the same as the DEK, at least within 5-10 hp. I dont consider my car a sleeper.

Or you could have that IN your 4th gen. Why does anyone try to get more power out of anything?

Our MAF is stupid, sends the A/F all over the board and no where near where it should be.

Easiest/cheapest route, get an AFC (piggyback) Check the A'pexi website. A VAFCII or SAFCII can ge you where you need to be. Check out the All Motor fourm for further instruction.

NmexMAX- I don't know what I'm doing. I am guessing if I pick up the part/s than my Mechanic will be able to do the install. Correct? I really don't want to screw anything up. All Motor Forum. Got it.
