Fogs from ebay put hid's in it would they crack??

Fogs from ebay put hid's in it would they crack??

I'm thiking of getting fog's (after i got into accident) so i think of putting fog lights in and instead of halogen put xenon in it would they heat as much as with the halogen bulb.

I think that regardless of what fog light you buy, they will crack. If it isnt the bulbs that get you, it will be road debris. If I were you id go for it, and if they crack, they crack. Replace them as many times as you want to...ive been led to believe that they will inevetably crack.

My stock fogs have never cracked, the bulbs have blown and that's it. Also I thought HIDs put out less heat than halogen due to less wattage usage to power then.

Youre lucky. Could also be that I live in the northeast where ample amounts of sand and rock salt are put on the roads 5 months of the year. Both of my fogs are cracked, and ive heard stories that replacements will crack within a few months of installation. Heres the other fourm:
