Radiator issues, please help

Ok, for the last 2weeks or so ive had a slow leak on the top part of my radiator. Passenger side ride where the plastic tank meets up to the aluminum radiator, kinda in the seam if you will... It almost looks like it's where the radiator is pressed onto the tank.. Anyway has anyone else had this problem yet?? I just put some jb weld on it for now b/c I don't want to waste money on a new radiator...

the radiator will need to be replaced or professionally resealed (new tanks installed).

just replace it. too long with that JB and it might bust big time on you right when you dont need it to. i know they are expensive, but i replaced mine about 2 years ago, and no problems since.

, but if your too cheap to get a new 1, then take a pair of pliers and
crimp the tabs (special tool for this, pliers will do) where it's leaking.

New radiators cost $150 at most, so if you had the original one for 10yrs, you must feel happy. Go and invest this amt on a new one and not think about it for a long time!!!

replace the radiator.

IMPORTANT: don't just refill with any old coolant and forget about it. do a full flush of the system with distilled water. then refill the radiator with full strength Japanese coolant - nissan OEM or Toyota red. don't use toyota pink or honda blue - they are 50/50 pre-mix. AND - be absolutely sure to purge air from the system. search around for the proper procedure. I've posted it many times.
