TCM code
Hello.
I just recently bought a JWT 96 manual ECU from a fellow member.
While I do enjoy the extra performance the ECU brought along, it's also throwing a P1605 TCM A/T code.
Minor nuisance, some would say, but I'd like to know If in fact this ECU is actually for automatics, and If I can get rid of that code?
What do you guys think?
Thanks

Now I was told that it was a manual ECU. (http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=502797)
and... is there a way to get rid of that code?
thanks

Guys,
I still have the same problem.
By now, I failed the emmisions test and while I tried to get my DL renewed (it expires tomorrow - my 3rd B-Day
) I learnt that my DL has been suspended!!
So it's like that, one try and you're out...!
I thought that they do that after 3 unsuccesfull attemts.
Long story short, I need to do something immediately!
Again, can anybody tell me if there's a way to clean out that TCM code?
Thanks

only thing that i can think of is get urself a standalone and turn off all of the codes as for what code that u are throwing i am not sure go to ur local auto parts store have them pull the code and figure out what it is
also u may wanna try to speak to a master tech at the local nissan dealer or infinity.
i know of someone in town that has a e manage ultimate with support tool that he is trying to sell i can talk to him for you to see if he will sell it

I have my old ECU, of course, but I'd have to clean those codes up too.
I def. can't afford to purchase "e manage ultimate with support tool" thing.
Appreciate it though.
I'm just wondering if there's a way to clear the TCM code? Disconnect it, pull the fuse or something hahah
