Strange shifts with 4AT

Hey fellas i've been noticing a strange shift with my 95 Maxima for a while but i've ignored it and now it's kinda bothering me ... I notice that when the car changes gear it kinda idles at the shiftpoint for about 3/4 of a second to a second then shifts what could be the problem? and what can i do to fix it

your tranny is slipping. YOu can check your fluid to see if is is good/at the proper level. YOu can also try an additive like auto rx (autorx.com) and se if it helps. YOur tranny may be on its way out, but you can try to limp it along with the above advice. You should not change the fluid if its old and black. The fluid might be holding the tranny together!

Bring it back to the shop and have them check it. You should have warranty if you're at 4 months now.
