Free 350Z stock exhaust...What should I Do?

A friend of mine is upgrading his exhaust on his 350Z so he asked me if I wanted his stock one. I know anything is possible, but has anyone attempted/Installed a stock 350Z on their 97-99 Maxima? If you did what problems am I going to run into?

no it would be a real hassle. Just sell it to someone. It's worth a good amount. Don't tell your friend or split the pot.

yeah, even to get the muffler to work it would take some time. its single entry, dual and its side exits too. So youd need to fill in one of the exits, and route one of the pipes out the back. The piping i wouldnt even bother with, its a single pipe from the y-pipe back.

Sell it to someone looking to replace there aftermarket exhaust with a stock unit and pocket the change, and buy an exhaust designed for the maxima.

I was going to do this with my 95. I had a muffler given to me....I ended up throwing it in a dumpster. You would have to either smash or cut out your spare tire well, and have custom hangers rigged up just to hold it up. I then tried selling it....no one wanted to buy it. It's a really heavy paper weight IMO. I have a G35 sedan muffer on the car now and I am very happy with that.
