bose stereo problem

bose stereo problem

the radio, cassette and cd's play fine but i cant see what station or what track im playing, cuz the front doesnt illuminate anymore. do i have to replace the stereo or does this have a fix??

That is pretty common with the Bose headunits. I think there is a "fix" in the how tos somewhere about replacing a resistor inside the headunit, but that never worked for me when my display stopped working. I ended up opening up a broken headunit my friend had and used a few parts from that one on mine and got my display working. You can also buy another headunit from someone here in the for sale section, they pop up ever now and then.
