need some help with the panel that seperates the sunroof from the interior

not sure exactly what its called but the sunroof panel/cover came off of its tracks today, im having no luck putting it back in, is it at all possible to do without removing the headliner? i somehow got it off but cant get it to fit back in its tracks, it really sucks because someone is supposed to pick it up on tuesday because i sold it

thanks for any info you can give me

You just need to drop the headliner to access the sunroof. It's not that difficult either. Take out the screws that hold the sun visors in place, pull back the pillier moldings by the windshield and the moldings on the sides. The headliner is held up with clips, just work your way around gently pulling it down. The entire sunroof assembly is held up with 6 or 8 bolts. It must be removed and disassembled to gain access to the sliding sun visor.
