Water Spots after Zymol: help...?
Has anyone else experienced bad water spots that don't want to be removed when rainwater dries after your max has been Zymoled? I thought this was supposed to be an excellent wax, now I am wondering whether this is true or not.

try meguiars
You will always have water spots after a rain - the degree of which depending on environmental conditions in your area. However, a good wax, as you suspected, should allow them to wash away. Have you tried a genuine car wash such as Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo or equivalent? Don't use dishwashing soap or anything else to wash your car.
I'm not a fan of Zymol. They make a big deal about their "natural ingredients" but when I pressed their founder Richard Fontana with technical chemical questions, he really couldn't answer them. I like Meguiars and have used them since day one. I've only used show car glaze #7 followed by two coats of high tech yellow wax #26 on my finish and it is mint! These two products contain zero abrasive and water spots rinse right off my car after it rains and I wash it. One thing occurs to me is that you should never wash your car in direct sun. The water will dry before you get a chance to dry it off with 100% cotton terry towels and you will have water spots galore! Do it early in the morning or in the evening to avoid water spots from washing your car.
I think you can get these spots off simply by trying some meguiars. Let us know how it turns out.
