I have read that the 95 fed spec max has a mech EVAP. Wich in my case is not true, i have a cali spec with mechanical EVAP...hence my CEL light with a 96 cali spec ECU.

I found a 95 FED spec ECU, but i want to know what the differences are for smog reasons...I have to smog my car at the end of the month. and i wont pass here in cali with the CEL light from my 96 ECU.

I just want to accomplish 2 things:

1) get rid of my CEL for evap crap
2) pass my smog test here in California\

I have read so much on this topic...and so far i am the only person i have even heard of that has a mech EVAP control on a cali spec max...
