I think its about time I changed my exhaust. Getting a lil loud and I'm tired of sounding like a honda Anyone have a pic, and do you have to get a hole put in to the b- pipe after the cat to put in the sensor?

i jus got mine installed this weekend

i didnt c the guy at the repair shop put a hole to put in the o2 sensor ..maybe thats the reason why the exhaust fumes smell really bad....

as for the look, i was kinda disappointed...the tip of the exhuast is not even sticking out...in fact it doesnt even meet the bumper....its about an inch inwards from teh bumper...looks kinda odd...is this the way its supposed to loOk?

I just got it and it sucks Your better off going with greaddy b/c the pipe is bigger so theres is more air going in and the apexi doesnt look right.

How does it suck exactly? If you want loud, especially with a y-pipe, the Greddy SP exhaust will fit you good. However, if you like me that actually care about the sound quality, the WS can't be matched. Another thing is the WS looks pretty good actually. Maybe you don't like it because it's not loud enough? I heard this from people who think the exhaust is too quiet. Most of these people don't have a y-pipe. Get a y-pipe, you'll hear it. Yet, it's still relatively quiet, give you more of a "sleeper" sound.

Anyway, I'm more than happy with mine. Best money I spent IMO. Check out my profile for a pic, although mine is a '96.

The tip is always got to be flush with bumber so i thing they did a mistake.has for the pipe its not big like the greddy it small like oem.hp gain greddy will come out ahead over the apexi.the way they weld it looks cheap if you compare it to greddy.I thinks for sizes it got to be 95-96 and 97-99.

Well, if want an exhaust strictly for horsepower gain, I think most exhausts for the Maxima provide an improvement, but not really a big gain. If you want big hp gain or something you can definitely feel, I think a cai, y-pipe, ecu, supercharger, or nos is the only way to go. I didn't get this exhaust looking for just hp gain. I want an exhaust that will not be too loud when it's combined with the y-pipe. Ask anyone here who has a Greddy exhaust with a y-pipe, it will be LOUD. When I had my universal exhaust with the y-pipe, it was too loud for my taste. Made my car sounded like the fart cans on some Hondas/Acuras. I think on NA cars, you won't gain much with an exhaust. If you have FI, then it's a different story. As far as the cheap welding, I don't know about that because the welding that's on my WS exhaust seem pretty good to me. The tip on my exhaust matched my bumper very well. So, I don't know why the other poster's exhaust didn't line up as well.

Cumalot. Car looks good. I decided to go w/ the Greddy. I'm also thinking about putting side markers on my car. I just did a bid on ebay to get some. They looked just like yours. I'm gonna have my cousin put it in for me. Do you have yours wired up to your turn signal, parking light, or both?

Thanks. My car looks a bit different now, I need to update the pics. As far as the side markers, I wired them to my corner lights(next to headlights) and to the turn signals. So, when I turn on the headlights, the sidemarkers will come on. Plus, when I signal, the side markers will flash as well. I did this myself since it's an easy job. You just have to get pass the pain of drilling into your car. I wish I had put them a bit lower, but nothing I can do now.
