97 Infinity I30 Auto Trans

I just picked up another auto transmission with low miles to replace mine on my 95 Maxima. I am not sure if this one is the locking differential and the thread on here about "How do you tell if it is a VSLD transmission" is not coming up correctly for me. I did stick both side axles into the trans and both appear to be the same as far as fitting. I am planning on getting new axles, but I need to make sure of what I have. Any suggestions, as my search is not helping me.
Thanks.

The model number, visible from the top, is RE4F04V if it's a VLSD tranny. If the number is RE4F04A, it's a open differential. And yes, I've had both. I love my VLSD.

Look at the driver's side axle seal.

If it is way larger than the passenge side, like 2:1 bigger, then it is a LSD tranny.

LSD - not

I put an Infinity LSD in my 96. The left axle is very different. If your stock axle fit, it is not an LSD.
