Budget B pipe

I was just wondering, how many of u guys bought a Budget B pipe, and ended up getting a Magna-flow? was Budget always a distributor of Magnaflow? just wanted to check...

You mean the resonator is a Magnaflow, right? That's what I just got with mine.

I don't know if I would call them a distributor of magnaflow. They do use their product, but they did have to make the other piping for the 'b-pipe'. If they simply sold magnaflow resonators (or other mag. products), then I would call them a distributor. I quickly looked over they site and couldn't find a magnaflow name anywhere or see a magnaflow product.
But I may not fully understand the term 'distributor'. What do you mean by this?

Yea, i got a magnaflow resonator with my budget b-pipe and the cat came in a magnaflow cat box so thats interesting.

edited muffler for resonator

out of curiosity how does the muffler they gave you sound? and it bolted right up to the budget b-pipe correct?

I got stock noise levels with the Magnaflow resonator and with the stock muffler. It sounds deep but I want a bit more noise. I once had a Vibrant straight-through muffler but it was way too loud at around 2500rpm with both Y and resonated B piples.

which one is the b-pipe? is it the one from the y pipe to the cat? If I was replacing the y pipe and cat back what exactly am I going to need? sorry to crash your thread ethnic, but I can't post new threads

The Y-pipe extends right up to the start of the cat.

The B-pipe goes from the back end of the cat to the start of the muffler.

ya I just found it funny how they sell magnaflow, even though I heard it wasn't the best for our car somewhere in terms of noise level...
