So i hear that clicking noise from my front struts

When breaking hard or turning hard, i think its the strut mounts or bearings but i am not sure i am a complete noob when it comes to suspension.

I did read the stickies but i dont know what is the exact part that is making that noise, its just a one or two click when i turn. I want to replace my front struts and rear shocks. What else i need to replace when i get in there?

PS: my front strut boots are ripped open on both sides as well

CV joint is done. If both are ripped open you're gonna have to replace both, and that's not a cheap repair.

Are you sure it's the struts, it's possible that the clicking noise is from your swaybar endlinks. If they're original you should replace those.

i got it used, i assume everything is original almost 212 KM on the car, from the comments so far its pretty much clear that i should not buy anything in advance before taking my car apart, and just see what is actually broken once i get my mechanic to get in there

clicking when turning would be strut bearings. youde know if it was the cv axels.

no its not axels, i have 2 axels go on another car i owned previously, it sounded like repeated clicking when turning into the direction if the axel (ex if driver side axel is bad, then when u turn left the clicking happens)

this is completely different, when i turn hard left OR right, i hear maybe one or two distinct clicks, it does kinda sound like strut bearings (those are the round metal rings and are really cheap right ?)

since my strut ruber boots are both ripped i might as well replace both struts, but my original question was, should i pre-buy certain parts and replace them at the same time while the whole thing is taken apart ? or just get the struts for now and see what is actually broken in there and then get the parts that i need only (this will cause more down time as i would have to go to the dealer and order parts which takes 24 hours.)

thanx
