Neon Lights on a Maxima
Undercar kit or inside the car?
I have done both, the undercar kit will run about $150 and putting it on isn't very hard if your good with tools and have a basic understanding of the 12volt world including how to wire relays. The tubes themselves need to be screwed into the chasis of the car and than the wires need to be run. In all it took me about 2.5hours, if you can put the car up on a lift it would help out a lot. As for in the car the tubes run about $30 or so and the are easy to install with a switch or you can tap the dome light and put a relay on it so they turn on when the door opens. Any questions I can answer for you let me know. I have a picture that I can send you with my undercar neons, but its too big to post.

hey man.. appreciate ur help.. i know the basics of 12v world but to be on the safe side wanna refresh my skills;-) is there any website which might help? also where did u purchase ur inside and undercar kit from? pics will suddenly help.
The undercar kit is from Low Glow, I picked it up from a friend who was a dealer. The in car tubes are Street Glow, I have 2 15"? (I think) tubes cost about $30 each and a 2 sets of the pencil tubes that I still need to install. The pencil tubes are I think brighter than the big tubes and easier to install but they are more money because your buying two tubes instead of one. You can buy them at Circuit City Best Buy, places like that. As far as a site to go to,??? Don't know of any off the top of my head. All you need for the interior is power, ground. Wire all the tubes together than ground in the same spot to help reduce radiated noise. Run all the power to a relay that you trigger with a switch, its easy.

Here's your pic

. I have 3 tubes installed under that car. 2 48 inch on the sides, and 1 36 inch in the back. I really couldn't find a good place to mount the 4th in the front. I am selling my kit for 100 bucks if you're interested. I never use them. I've had them on for about 4 months, 1 tube is still brand new, never installed, and all of the other 3 tubes are in 100% perfect condition. Drop me an email if you're interested.
