I have been looking at a few junkyards, trying to find a car with turbo that I can swap into my 95 Maxima. Anyone know of any turbo's that work better than others?

 

You are probably better off installing a supercharger because there is an off-the-shelf kit available. A turbocharger will require some expensive custom-made exhaust pieces.

A turbo works best when it is physically close to the engine so the exhaust gases are still very hot when they reach the turbine. For a V-shaped engine that usually means having two turbos. This would be a tight packaging job in an already-cramped engine compartment.
