I was just wondering how much power i would be robbing myself of if i were to install a 2.5" Y pipe, 2.5" converter, and a 2.5" catback ...if in the future i was planning on adding a supercharger?

I realize that the ideal exhaust diameter is 3" for a supercharger, but i dont have one yet. Would i DEFINITELY need to upgrade to 3" later on if i purchase a SC??

...of course i will probably never be able to afford a v2 supercharger anyway, but still, i was just wondering.

If you do a search, people have tested it and found minimal gains (1hp) or even HP losses. 2.5 is fine, dont worry about it. Just try to get a nice flowin exhaust
