Tein Basics Question

What else would you need to buy?

Because Ksports come with everything all you do is remove the old strut/shock and install the new one. Would it be the same case here? Do you need a upper strut mounts? or do they come with it?
How low can you go with these. I am looking for a 1 finger to a 1.5 finger gap. I want something reliable, with low maintenance.

I know everyone is going with Ksports because of the camber plates that are built in, but I have heard some bad things about them, I am just curious about these. I also hear that these are a lot more comfortable compared to the Ksports.

Thanks

Tein Basics do not come with upper strut mounts. You can re-use your stock mounts or buy new OEM mounts. That 1 finger gap is going to be about a 2.5-3 inch drop which is pretty low. You will lose travel and have some bumpsteer issues at this height (anywhere from 1 finger to tucking).

Ok, If I were to get them, what parts would I need from the dealership?, and do I need them for all 4 struts/shocks, or just for the fronts??

Just fronts.

I'd get new front mount brackets, isolators, gaskets and strut bearings.

i also bought a camber kit before i had mine installed. i felt like i was driving a brand new car the first day they were on. it still handles very well. my front bumper sits about 4.5 inches off the floor. no clearance issues whatsoever

He said Basics. That means Tein Basic coilovers, not S-Tech springs.
