Several Simple Questions

The max does NOT have an in cabin air filter on the AC, right ?

How to tighten ebrake cable ? mine is acting kinda funny it doesnt click as much as it should and it just feels funny. the fsm does have instructions on this but its unclear.

what do u do with old parts u replace in the car? i have a small list of parts i want to get rid of / recycle but dont know where to go (spark plugs, pcv, fuel filter, broken dip stick, trunk latch, old stereo, old rear 02)

andrei,

The 4th Gen Max does NOT have a micron filter fopr the AC. To tighten the cable, simply unsnap the the boot,. You will see the adjustment screw coming from the front of the leever. The farther the threads come out, the tighter it gets. As for the recycling- I dunno.

It seems that it was too tight, the manual says it should click 10-11 times (force of 44lb (196 N) mine use to click like 4-5 times now i loosened it to 7-8 clicks, should i loosen it some more ? i still have enough screw space but it comes up higher and im satisfied with the pull

I have a "dead" box. It's funny what people need down the road. Have sold some things at meets for a couple bucks here and there.
