Ok , what do you guys think , i dont know how to post polls yet so im just asking normally. Should i convert my 95 gxe to 5 speed , or invest in a supercharger ?? i cant decide...im not really GREAT at stick , but i can drive it. i just jerk a little when shifting and sometimes stall in reverse , and im not really great on steep hills either... but i can learn that in a little time , ive only been "practicing " on my dads jetta turbo , and ive only been out a few times , but thats aside the point , stick , or supercharger ? i plan on running nitrous by the end of the year , if that effects your decisions...

Supercharger. It'll cost the same if not less, it comes with a warranty and MANY more people have done this with success.

RE: 5-speed vs. Supercharger...

Supercharger all the way. And I'm not just saying this because I have one, let me explain. A supercharger will blast you up to, if not past the speed/performance of a 5-speed. But then you say "But I can add a supercharger to my 5-speed and haul A$$". Well, if you have the money for both you can get a 5-speed tranny put in AFTER you get the supercharger. The supercharger will give you better performance in the long run. Just trying to help (all of you 5-speeds dont get all mad and sh;t).

Supercharger. It's not worth doing the transmission mod on a car that is almost 7 years old.

sounds good , does your automatic run hard with the supercharger ?? is it a big huge change that you can feel instantly ?? im guessing it is , 40% more power is a lot ...

Check out the MobileTek Valvebody Upgrade. It makes the auto transmission shift better.
